Donkey skin trade

Donkeys in the West are associated with zoos and hobby farms. Around the world they are highly valued for transporting water and goods. China imports milions of donkey skins from Africa to make traditional medicine ejiao. This medicine remendy dizziness, insomia and enhance fertility. But in fact skins can carry dangerous diseases like equine horse sickness and MRSA and other dangerous bacteria. Number of countries like Nigeria, Kenya banned the export of donkey skins. But trade is still legal in South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia and Botswana. But even if it is banned in some countries, there are still illegal strades in the world. And trades are spreading zoonotic diseases from Africa to Asia and so on. The entire trade in donkeys is a very risky buisness because of many diseases coming with those skins. Donkeys being taken to the slaughterhouses can spread diseases to other animals nearby. There were many cases when donkeys infected horses, from 3,000 horses 270 died from disease. Theres no control over this buissness and probably customers wouldnt buy if they knew how its produced.

the importance of bees

Bees are really important to environment. They are organized and they work hard. They are pollinators and take part in many aspects of ecosystem. Bees support the growth of many plants which are food source and shelter for other animals. They produce honey and humans are harvesting their honey. But in fact honey is made to feed colonies during cold winters. Honey is also consumed by birds, raccoons, possums and insects. Bees pollinate many plants thus plants can grow and produce food. Indonesia earthquake

On the Indonesian island of Java had been an earthquake. Many children were injured or killed. Rooms have been collapsing, roofs and a lot of people were trapped and couldnt get out from collapsing buildings. Actually there were more than 1,000 people injured and 151 people is still missing. Also 22,000 houses had been damaged and many people have to take a shelter. Villages were burried by earthquake. Most of victims were children because they were still at school when it happened. Earthquake struck at depth of 10km and was followed by many afterschocks. President of Indonesia instructed to rescue poeple which are still trapped under rubble. Hundreds of police and rescuers are taking effort to find victims because still many people is missing.

butterfly

Butterflies develop through process metamorphosis and its transformation or change in shape. There are four stages of this process. In first stage eggs are laid on plants by adult female butterfly. These eggs can be pretty small. Females lay a lot of eggs at once just to make sure at least one of them survive. Eggs can be laid from spring, summer or fall. Second stage is larva (caterpillar). Caterpillars are supposed to eat and eat and this  food is stored and used later as adult. Caterpillars can grow 100 times their size in this stage. Third stage is pupa. Caterpillar becomes a pupa when is fully grown. The pupa may suspend under a branch, hidden in leaves or buried underground. Inside pupa big changes are happening and butterfly is being formed. This stage can last from two weeks to month or longer. Last stage is adult stage. Then caterpillar is already a butterfly and they cant grow any longer. Adult job is to mate and lay eggs.
