Brown noise

Word "brown" in brown noise is not a colour, its reference to sound that mimics Brownian motion. It was discovered by Robert Brown in 1827. It is similar to staticky white noise, which create a masking effect and blocks out many things around. Brown noise is pleasant to listen because most of distractions are removed by higher frequences. People use it while having sleeping problems or when they cant focus. This sound makes it easier to get work done and keeps mind in peace. It also really helps maintaning a deep sleep and relaxes. Brown noise can comfort people with ADHD, as they say they have no thoughts while listening. This sound blocks out other sounds and cleares mind. Many says it comforting and curing noise. Its not for everyone because peoples brains work diffrently and brown noise can be neutral too. But in most cases, like with ADHD, it really does seem to work.

This can also be placebo effect bacause if someone wants to feel calm, they will probably feel it. But if someone is distracted, nervous or curious how this noise works, theres no reason not to listen to it.
